This place is so great. And Andi's energy makes it 20 times better than you think. His laughter wisdom, knowledge and handcrafted foods and drink, his dogs, and the Black Mamba drink adds so much to his space. It's my absolute new favorite place to visit. I love the energy here!

If you’re looking for delicious and authentic Indonesian food with a unique personal touch, Bula Vinaka is your place. Andi’s homemade food with fresh and local ingredients is made with love. He also has a delicious kombucha and even makes his own noodles which I’ve never seen in any other local warung, so don’t miss out on it! But if noodles are not your thing, I assure you that you’ll find something else that suits you. I’ve tried pretty much everything on the menu by now and recommend all of it. But it’s not just the food that makes this place special. Andi is the most welcoming host I’ve ever met and the amount of regular customers speaks for itself. It’s not a coincidence that this place has become an institution over the years for people to come together and connect.

Visiting Ubud on vacation. We got to meet the owner whose name is Andi. I had the vegetarian fried noodles with an extra egg over hard. The noodles are home made. Highly recommended and I would eat here again.

The reviews are true. Andy was more than welcoming even when we arrived after 21:00 when they close at 22:00. With less than an hour left and you had been more than welcoming and treating us to his delicious food, his beautiful dog, vibes and atmosphere and other worldly views, amazing self-made alcohol and the sugar cane juice that blew us away. The food was honestly just the extra bonus on top of the great atmosphere that he provided. The homemade noodles with the pork rendang absolutely godly. It's always beautiful to meet a soul that understands across the world . We wish we could come back tomorrow but that's his day off and the man deserves some rest. We thank you for an amazing time and your wonderful hospitality will be back if we can. We bought 3 bottles of the homemade goods

Hidden gem in Ubud you should never miss. If you want the taste of Indonesia this 'warung' has it all. They have the best grilled tempeh, Balinese fried rice, and home-made noodles. Also one of a few places that sell fresh cane sugar drink, and home-made kombucha. If you like liquor, they make home-made liquor that's good served with carbonated water or as it is. The hosts are absolutely fun to talk to. This place is non MSG, vegan friendly and most importantly dog friendly .

the best home-cooked food I've had for a long time. if I could, I would come every day. great idea also, to have 2 menus (vegetarian or no-vegetarian food). Makes it easier to choose. --> big portions, fair price, no MSG. great chatting with you, Anna and "chapeau" to the chef, Andi. see you again and regards to your fluffy bodyguards.

Really pleased we discovered this spot whilst staying in Ubud. I’m vegan my sister is vegi and we loved the noodles, peanut tempeh with family recipe and sugar cane juice. Had some lovely chats with the owner and changed our travel plans on a couple of recommendations! Decent food portions and great value for money. Restaurant dogs were so cute and friendly. We’ll miss this place!
